Ego Nwodim is set to debut her first podcast, *Thanks Dad*, on September 9, alongside her role in Peacock’s new comedy, Mr. Throwback, and the upcoming 50th season of *Saturday Night Live*. The podcast will feature Nwodim engaging with guests who step into the role of her “Dad for the day.” In these candid and humorous interviews, she will explore their experiences with fatherhood and seek advice on practical matters, all while sharing her personal curiosity about father-daughter dynamics.
“I didn’t have a relationship with my dad, but I’m interested in understanding more about it,” Nwodim explains. “I want to highlight shared experiences and delve into deep conversations with my guests.”
Featured guests will include Nwodim’s *SNL* castmates like Kenan Thompson and Tim Meadows, along with other notable figures such as Adam Pally and Paul Scheer. “It’s rewarding to see these well-known personalities open up in a way we haven’t seen before,” she adds.
