The Hollywood Bowl’s planned concert on Sunday night, featuring Vance Joy, has been canceled due to a power outage affecting the venue and surrounding area.
The Bowl announced on its website that the show, which was set to start at 7 p.m. PT, would not proceed. “Tonight’s Vance Joy concert is cancelled due to a power outage affecting the Hollywood Bowl and vicinity,” the venue stated. “We apologize for the inconvenience. If a new date for this performance can be confirmed, details will follow and tickets for the original date will be valid for the new performance date. No further action is needed on your part.”
The cause of the outage and the time frame for power restoration remain unclear.
Fans who purchased tickets are advised to contact Audience Services at information@laphil.org for information regarding refunds and exchanges. The concert, part of a celebration of the 10-year anniversary of Joy’s debut album *Dream Your Life Away*, also featured indie rockers GROUPLOVE and folk-pop group Tiny Habits.
