Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) has introduced the GR Supra GT4 EVO2, an advanced version of its popular GT4 race car. Designed for the 2025 race season, this new model incorporates extensive feedback from global racing teams to enhance performance, reliability, and drivability.
The original GR Supra GT4, launched in 2020, quickly gained traction with over 120 units sold and more than 500 podium finishes across 11 countries. It achieved notable success in Asia, the U.S., and Europe.
Building on the improvements of the GR Supra GT4 EVO introduced for the 2023 season, the EVO2 boasts significant upgrades, including re-tuned ABS maps for better braking and cornering, refined rev matching for smoother downshifting, and enhanced cooling systems for the engine, brakes, and drivetrain. These updates are aimed at optimizing both performance and accessibility for amateur drivers.
The GR Supra GT4 EVO2 is set to debut at the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge in January 2025, aligning with the 24 Hours of Daytona. Initial pricing for the European market is expected to be €202,000 EUR, with global pricing and availability details to follow.
