This week, PLEASURES, a prominent Los Angeles-based lifestyle brand, and the world-renowned music group N.E.R.D collaborated to introduce a special pop-up event at BELOWGROUND in Hong Kong. The highlight of the pop-up was the launch of a unique capsule collection that pays tribute to N.E.R.D.’s discography, influence, and essence. The collection, comprising 13 distinct styles, includes varsity jackets, T-shirts inspired by tracks from In Search Of… (2002), and collaborative Modernica furniture pieces.
For the next three weeks, PLEASURES’ founders Alex James and Vlad Elkin, alongside N.E.R.D’s Shay Haley, engaged with fans to showcase the innovative fusion of apparel and furniture. Emphasizing its deep connection to music, PLEASURES celebrated the iconic hip-hop and rock ensemble that has resonated with a generation embracing diverse cultures, genres, identities, and expressions.
In addition to offering an early release of the collaborative collection, PLEASURES and N.E.R.D hosted a book signing with Phillip Leeds, the photographer and author of Big Shots!, and organized a special program with FM BELOWGROUND.
The N.E.R.D. x PLEASURES collection is currently available at BELOWGROUND for three weeks, with a broader release scheduled on PLEASURES’ website and at select global retailers on November 24 at 10 a.m. PST.
