They are a powerful combination of mental grit, confidence, passion, and genuine love for art. The twin sisters from Santa Monica, California, US, were born in 2005, and today, at just 18 years of age, they have surpassed boundaries and created their unique niche as Emmy nominated sister-stars.
The much-talked-about twin sisters have remained a notable name in the Emmy, with Chiara being an Emmy-winning actress whose breakout role was on the CBS Daytime drama The Young and the Restless as Summer Newman. She showcased her prowess as an actress, even as a guest star with recurring and co-starring roles on prominent shows like Parks and Recreation and Guys with Kids on NBC and also Nickelodeon’s “See Dad Run” and “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn,” and CBS’s “Criminal Minds,” FX’s “Legit,” Disney’s “Diary of a Future President” and more. Chiara is currently studying at USC School of Cinematic Arts .
On the other hand, Bianca is a 2-time Emmy nominated Producer and nominated Actress for her impactful role on CBS’s Daytime drama The Young and the Restless. Apart from the shows mentioned above, where she worked with her twin sister, she was also a part of Comedy Central’s “The Jeselnik Offensive,” Disney’s “The Savages” and “Freak Out” CBS’s “Criminal Minds,” FX’s “Legit” and more. She is currently a Senior at UC Berkeley .
So far, the twin sisters have appeared in several other notable shows and are also in the works of joining hands with many other eminent production houses for many more challenging roles. Chiara and Bianca are phenomenal performers, producers, and the brains behind their one-of-a-kind production film and TV finance company “Mirror Image Films.”
The 50th annual Daytime Emmy Awards on 15th December will see them receive their second Daytime Emmy nomination for producing the 23-time Daytime Emmy-winning series “The Bay.” Their presence and performances in films like Lionsgate Films’ “Fear of Rain” opposite Katherine Heigl and Harry Connick Jr., Lionsgate Films’ “Lady of the Manor,” “High Heat” with Don Johnson, and AMC Network’s Shudder’s “Slapface” have also brought them massive recognition, over the years.
Bianca D’Ambrosio also starred alongside Elizabeth Banks and Sigourney Weaver in Roadside Attraction’s reproductive rights film “Call Jane,” which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2022 and the Berlin Film Festival, while Chiara worked as Mel Gibson’s daughter in “Bandit” with Josh Duhamel and received a Daytime Emmy win for her role as Regan Sanders in “The Bay.”
