Kristen Bell knows exactly how to capture the audience’s attention—by singing a classic Frozen song, of course.

As the official host of the 2025 SAG Awards, Bell kicked off the evening with a playful and lively tribute to her Frozen character, Anna, performing “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” to the crowd’s delight. Set at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles, the opening sequence featured Bell shouting out actors in the audience while showcasing clips of their early work, all to the tune of the iconic song from the 2013 Disney blockbuster. The hilarious and heartfelt cameos included Timothée Chalamet as an extra in ICU and Zoe Saldaña singing with Britney Spears in the 2002 film Crossroads.

Bell’s all-white tailored suit was a nod to her Frozen character, adding an extra touch of magic to the moment. Known for her iconic roles in Frozen, Gossip Girl, and Veronica Mars, Bell’s hosting skills were just as impressive as her acting chops. Her recent work as Joanne in Netflix’s rom-com Nobody Wants This is another fan favorite, with a second season already in the works alongside co-star Adam Brody.

This year’s SAG Awards, which honored the best performances in film and TV from 2024, brought together a star-studded crowd, including names like Quinta Brunson, Mikey Madison, Demi Moore, and Jeremy Allen White. Kristen Bell’s playful and heartwarming opening was just the start of a memorable evening celebrating the magic of storytelling and performance.
