Todd Snyder, the NYC-based designer renowned for his mainline offerings, continues to broaden his collaborative portfolio, having partnered with esteemed entities such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Champion, FootJoy, and New Balance. His latest venture delves into the world of sports, teaming up with Major League Baseball’s New York Yankees and New York Mets for an exclusive Subway Series fan gear collaboration.

Known for their passionate fan bases, the Yankees and Mets hold significant sway in the hearts of New Yorkers, making them ideal partners for Snyder’s brand rooted in the city’s culture. The collaboration specifically celebrates the storied Subway Series, embodying the fierce rivalry between the two teams.

The collection features a diverse range of apparel, including jackets and shorts crafted from premium Italian suiting fabrics, french terry cloth shirts, and signature New Era hats. Presented in a refined color palette of black, gray, and white, each piece prominently showcases the respective team logos. A standout item is the satin coaches jacket, designed to seamlessly transition from casual outings to more dressed-up occasions.

“The Yankees and Mets are iconic MLB teams whose rivalry is woven into the fabric of New York City,” Snyder explains. “I aimed to create sophisticated fan gear that could be worn both to the game and in everyday life.” The collection reimagines traditional team motifs with a focus on muted, elegant tones and luxurious materials like Italian satin, lightweight wools, and terry cloth.

Explore the exclusive Todd Snyder x MLB “Subway Series: Yankees vs Mets” collection in the accompanying gallery. The lineup is set to launch on July 17th, available in-store at Todd Snyder locations and online.
