SteelSeries has unveiled a special Lunar New Year edition of its Arctis Nova 7 gaming headphones, paying homage to the upcoming Lunar New Year with a design inspired by the dragon, one of the twelve Chinese zodiac animals.
The Arctis Nova 7 Dragon Edition headphones feature a traditional red and gold color scheme, symbolizing prosperity and fortune in Lunar New Year tradition. The design was created by a team of SteelSeries staff with Chinese and Taiwanese heritage, reflecting the brand’s commitment to honoring the culture in an authentic and personal manner.
This special edition retains all the features and elite performance that fans of the brand have come to expect. The headphones offer wireless connectivity via Bluetooth, as well as a lower-latency 2.4GHz option through a USB dongle, allowing for simultaneous multi-point connections. They also support wired use and boast a robust battery that provides an impressive 38 hours of usage. Additionally, they can be fast-charged via USB-C, providing around 6 hours of gameplay time with just 15 minutes of charging. The AirWeave Memory Foam ear pads ensure comfort during extended gaming sessions, and the onboard ComfortMax System allows users to adjust the headphones in four different ways for a better fit. Active noise canceling is also available for those seeking to block out external noise and fully immerse themselves in their game.
The Arctis Nova 7 Dragon Edition headphones are currently available for pre-sale and will be launched worldwide at select retailers and the SteelSeries website on January 22, priced at $199 USD.
