Spotify has just launched a game-changing feature aimed at making your in-flight music experience seamless. Dubbed **Offline Backup**, this new tool automatically curates and downloads a playlist for users who forget to prepare their music before hopping on a flight.
The Offline Backup feature compiles a list of a user’s recently streamed and queued songs, pulling exclusively from tracks already stored in the device’s cache. This means even songs that haven’t been officially downloaded can still make it onto your playlist, ensuring you have access to your favorite tracks while in the air.
Once the playlist is generated, users can easily browse through it and organize their music by mood or genre. The playlist is dynamic, continuously evolving to include the latest tracks that users have been listening to, making it a reflection of their current musical tastes.
Initially rolled out in beta last year, Offline Backup is now available to all Spotify Premium subscribers globally. This feature not only enhances convenience but also ensures you never miss out on your favorite tunes while flying.
