Jobless claims drop for sixth straight week, as labor market is showing no signs of stress
Initial claims for state unemployment benefits fell by 4,000 to a total of 217,000 in the week that ended July 19, the Labor Department said Thursday. That’s the sixth straight weekly decline. Claims are now at their lowest level since mid-April. Source link
