7-Eleven is set to turn up the cool factor on July 11, 2024, with its annual Free Slurpee Day, marking the convenience store giant’s 97th birthday celebration. This longstanding tradition offers customers a chance to beat the summer heat with a complimentary small Slurpee drink from participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores across the country.

This year’s Free Slurpee Day will be the 22nd consecutive year that 7-Eleven has treated customers to this sweet summer promotion. Fans of the iconic frozen treat can simply visit their nearest participating store to claim their free Slurpee, no strings attached.

For those looking to extend the celebration, 7-Eleven is offering additional perks. Members of the 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards programs can score an extra free small Slurpee by scanning their rewards information on Slurpee Day and redeeming it before July 31. Moreover, customers can enjoy $1 deals on popular items like pizza and 7-Select™ gummies from now until July 23.

In keeping with the festivities, 7-Eleven has partnered with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to introduce a special edition Slurpee cup that showcases artistic expressions inspired by Slurpee culture. This collaboration not only enhances the celebratory spirit but also supports local communities through in-store fundraising efforts.

Marissa Jarratt, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing & Sustainability Officer at 7-Eleven, Inc., expressed enthusiasm for the event, highlighting its role in fostering community engagement and supporting children’s health initiatives.

Headquartered in Irving, Texas, 7-Eleven, Inc. operates over 13,000 stores across the United States and Canada, serving as a beloved fixture in communities nationwide.

As July 11 approaches, Slurpee enthusiasts and community supporters alike can look forward to a day filled with icy refreshment and goodwill, courtesy of Free Slurpee Day at 7-Eleven.
