In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the iconic role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons has embarked on an exciting collaboration with Converse, bringing forth a range of thematic gear that pays homage to the beloved game.
The collaboration kicks off with a unique footwear collection featuring two Chuck 70s and two Chuck Taylor All Stars, each adorned with references to Dungeons & Dragons. These designs incorporate molded stars at the silhouettes’ signature Chuck patch, reminiscent of the game’s iconic twenty-sided dice. Additionally, hexagonal eyelets and a special tongue lining featuring a historical excerpt about Dungeons & Dragons, alongside a customizable character sheet, add depth to each pair. Fans can also enjoy customizing their own pairs through the Converse By You platform. Adding a touch of whimsy, each pair comes with a shoe box designed to replicate the appearance of the mimic, a shape-changing monster from the game.
Complementing the footwear are apparel offerings inspired by Dungeons & Dragons’ core rulebooks. Graphics and characters from the game are featured on a long-sleeve tee, three short-sleeve tees, a pair of shorts, and a trucker hat, completing the collection.
The Dungeons & Dragons x Converse collaboration made its debut at Gary Con XVI and is set for a wider release on April 11 via Converse and select retailers.
