Timex has introduced the latest addition to its Marlin collection: the Marlin Jet Automatic. This state-of-the-art timepiece draws inspiration from futuristic design elements of the 1960s, encapsulated within a sleek, 38mm brushed stainless-steel casing. The watch boasts the iconic Marlin branding on a grooved bezel, encased by a domed Hesalite crystal.
The Hesalite crystal covers the entire surface of the watch case, seamlessly merging with the edges, leaving only the lugs visible. The case back, designed to mimic the crystal’s rounded shape, creates a streamlined 360-degree silhouette.
Beneath the crystal glass, a silver-white concave dial adorned with a “cross-hair pattern” is complemented by a sub-dial displaying 24-hour markers next to the 9 o’clock position. Notably, this automatic watch harnesses the wearer’s natural wrist movements to power itself.
Completing the ensemble, the timepiece is presented on a blue woven perlon strap, adding a textural fabric finish to the overall design. The strap is adjustable to fit wrist circumferences ranging from 150 to 205 millimeters.
The Marlin Jet Automatic is now available for purchase on Timex’s official website for $289 USD. For a closer look at the design, explore the gallery above.
