Highlighting her books, the award-winning author says that to inspire, empower, and help women create more balance in life, she wrote the Common Threads trilogy on Inspiration, Empowerment, and Balance which is based on her Empowering Women Radio. Her book, Ball Gowns to Yoga Pants: Entrepreneurial Secrets to Create Your Dream Business and Brand, and in one of her most recent released books Mom Magic Mompreneur, were both international bestsellers across several countries.
She is a humanitarian at heart who, in the past, has worked as a special education teacher. She even ran a group home for autistic adults and served as an assistant principal at a school for children with emotional and behavioral needs. She was a tenured university undergraduate and later a doctoral professor. Active in the media world, she hosted Empowering Women Radio and Inspiring Lives with Dr. Shellie on NBC and even stunned everyone as a keynote speaker in illustrious colleges like Harvard, Pepperdine, Columbia, and The University of Oxford in England.
